The Hampton Roads Alliance of Music Professionals (HRAMP) was born out of the lack of emphasis and concern placed on inspirational broadcasting, as well as inspirational broadcasters, by Hampton Roads; major broadcast and record industry conventions and associations.
The music industry has transformed and is in a continuing stage of modification as technology advances annually. With the emergence of satellite and internet radio, social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Periscope and Instagram.
Members of the organization will include leading professionals from radio, television, print, social media, Public Relations, recording artist, record company executives, producers and marketing executives.

The mission of The HRAMP shall be to actively seek to raise the level of proficiency and quality in the presentation of Inspirational Music and its components in their area for the purpose of increasing the awareness, acceptance and penetration of Inspirational Music, to preserve the heritage of Inspirational Music, and to promote Inspirational Music as a unified body of The HRAMP.
The HRAMP is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, faith-based, or scientific purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The mission of The HRAMP shall be to actively seek to raise the level of proficiency and quality in the presentation of Inspirational Music and its components in their area for the purpose of increasing the awareness, acceptance and penetration of Inspirational Music, to preserve the heritage of Inspirational Music, and to promote Inspirational Music as a unified body of The HRAMP.

In order to accomplish our mission and purpose, the directors of The Hampton Roads Alliance of Music Professionals are committed to the following:

To increase the penetration of music in cities and towns in Hampton Roads and abroad through a greater awareness of and a greater acceptance of Inspirational Music;
- To preserve and expand the rich, traditional heritage components while increasing acceptance of ever evolving contemporary expressions;

To establish an association that seeks to raise and maintain a high level of quality and proficiency in inspirational broadcast presentations;

To strengthen existing, and to open new channels of communication between artists, labels, distributors, social media components, retailers, announcers, and to provide a forum where these areas may come together to seal differences and design a positive course for the growth of music; and

To create a unified body that can serve the world as one voice.
PURPOSE
